About the event
This workshop will focus on flow measurement and metering in clean water networks, with particular attention to the accuracy of large meters used for Distribution Input and trunk mains balance calculations. Reliable flow data is essential for leakage reporting, water balance calculations and operational decision-making, and there is increasing industry focus on the quality of data from large meters. The event will share experience from recent industry work and testing programmes, alongside practical insights into technologies used for measurement and verification of large flows, including clamp-on, insertion and probe-based approaches.
