About the event
This workshop will address the challenges that Section 82 of the Environment Act 2021 will have on those organisations and businesses working in the field of Aquaculture. The Act clearly defines requirements for real time monitoring upstream and downstream from sewerage undertaker assets in inland water courses, but also recognises that impacts from these assets can be observed in (groundwaters), lakes and coasts, which commonly can host activities related to leisure and fisheries.
The workshop will focus on the topic of how best to inform Aquaculture operators on the quality of their waters and review real time monitoring techniques to cover section 82 requirements.
