About the event
The 9th annual WWT Drinking Water Quality Conference returns in June to bring together the leading water companies, associations, academics, and solution providers to discuss current and future challenges in maintaining a superior level of drinking water quality in the UK. Plus, an extended PFAS & Emerging Contaminants pre-conference workshop returning for 2024, to discuss how to deal with these ‘forever chemicals’ in our drinking water.
This event brings the opportunity to discuss and understand the most up to date challenges in drinking water quality and learn from industry peers on how to tackle risk and resilience, improve customer perception and public health, and ultimately enhance water quality from source to tap.
In this two-day event, senior leaders from across the UK’s drinking water industry and beyond will share their insight and approaches to dealing with current issues including treatment, resilience, contaminants, catchment management, data & digitalisation, customer perceptions and more. In the workshop, experts in the PFAS field will share their insight into regulation, toxicology, customer impacts, detection, removal & analysis techniques, and innovation. In addition, hear how we can learn from other countries approaches to dealing with PFAS & other contaminants in the international learnings session.
