Sponsorship really works best when the partnership ends up making something useful for the audience, not just brand visibility, y'know. From what I’ve seen, if you set goals that are clear, like getting in front of industry professionals, earning media coverage that actually fits, or growing thought leadership, then it becomes way easier to judge how well the whole thing is doing. Partnering with a digital pr company can also help turn an event collaboration into wider editorial exposure, but the story still has to have real industry value. And yeah, focusing on engagement plus the quality of the coverage is more meaningful than counting impressions only.
