The event will showcase both innovations that are currently being trialled and exciting new developments poised to shape the future of water quality assessment. This event will have an international flavour with an insight into innovation that is being used in Australia to monitor water quality.

Attendees will learn about the application of biosensing and flow cytometry, for analysing waterborne microorganisms and particles. The application of capillary electrophoresis will be discussed for its versatility in routine monitoring of water and its potential for detecting chemical contaminants. The event will also explore inexpensive optical methods, offering cost-effective and sensitive approaches to monitoring water. Additionally, innovation for monitoring and surveying pipes, using acoustic technology will be covered.
