Call for Abstracts: 2025 European Biosolids & Bioresources Conference

SWIG is pleased to help promote the 2025 European Biosolids & Bioresources Conference, which marks the event’s 30th anniversary.

Abstract submissions are now open. The organisers are inviting professionals, researchers and strategic thinkers to contribute insights that reflect the sector’s evolving challenges and opportunities — particularly in the context of new regulations, landbank pressures and environmental performance.

Key Themes for 2025

The conference will focus on:

• Advanced Thermal Conversion & Landbank Challenges

• The Circular Economy (From Source to Land & Sea)

• The Industrial Emissions Directive – Meeting the Challenges

• Process Emissions

• Health & Safety

• Nitrogen & Phosphorus Recovery

Submissions should outline your proposed presentation in approximately 200 words, and include:

• The carbon emissions of your project

• How your work contributes or could contribute to the circular economy

• Preferred presentation format (oral, poster, or eligible for student/early career poster award)
