Festive Wishes from the SWIG Team

As we come to the close of 2025, we’d like to take a moment to thank all our members, partners and supporters for being such an active part of the SWIG community this year. Your engagement, insight and willingness to collaborate continue to shape what SWIG does, and we’re hugely grateful for the time and energy you contribute.

This year has been a particularly positive one for SWIG, highlighted by the success of the Sensing in Water conference. It was fantastic to bring the community together in person, hear from such a strong line-up of speakers, and see the level of discussion, challenge and collaboration across the programme. Thank you to everyone who attended, spoke, exhibited or supported the event in any way.

Looking ahead, planning is already underway for our 2026 programme. We’re keen to build on this year’s momentum, broaden the scope of our activities, and create more opportunities for members to share experiences, showcase work and help shape future discussions. As always, we’d love for as many of you as possible to be involved, so keep an eye out for updates in the New Year.

Finally, we hope you’re able to take a well-earned break over the festive period. Our usual inbox will be monitored lightly over the holidays, but we’ll be back properly in January and looking forward to what’s ahead.
